Using discourse segmentation to account for the polyfunctionality of discourse markers: The case of well

چکیده
A large number of studies describe the many different functions polyfunctional discourse markers like well in contexts and from theoretical perspectives. In current paper, we propose to systematize uses identified based on their position with respect units they are associated with. Not only can previous findings be integrated into a single coherent representation its functions, but positions also specific thus shedding light how polyfunctionality is brought about.
